School of Discipleship
The vision of the School of Discipleship is for the church body to be transformed by Christ’s teaching and equipped to live out their calling with growing grace and deepening communion with God.
Our adult Sunday School classes fulfill Christ's command to teach believers to observe all he has commanded, equipping them for spiritual growth and ministry through instruction on topics relevant to the Christian life. We offer two adult Sunday School classes — in the Chapel and the Fellowship Hall — most Sundays of the year, in between our two worship services.

Chapel
Called to Life and Service
In this class we will consider the biblical concept of "calling" (vocation). We will begin generally, looking at the various ideas united by the relevant terms, then consider calling in the light of Creation, Fall, and Redemption. Finally we will zero in on the way vocation shapes our understanding of our daily work, in both the family and the broader community. Join Roger Wagner in the Chapel starting September 6.
Fellowship Hall
Tracing the Themes of Scripture
The Bible is one book telling one main story. But it can be difficult to see the connections between the two testaments and the 66 books of the Bible. In this series, we will look at several overarching themes that span the whole Bible in order to become better readers of Scripture. We will also see how many of these themes find their center in Jesus. Join Pastor Sebastian in the Fellowship Hall as we grow not only in our knowledge of Scripture but also our love of Christ.

The Five Solas in the Life of the Christian
Scripture alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, Christ alone, to the Glory of God alone; what do these “Five Solas” of the Protestant Reformation have to do with living a faithful, joyful Christian life? Join Nathan Johnson in the Chapel for a 6-week series on how the core doctrines of the Protestant Reformation form the bedrock of a life lived wholly, faithfully, and joyfully before the face of God.

Many Forms, One Word: The Genres of Scripture
God has given us his Word in a rich variety of forms: narrative, poetry, prophecy, and more! Each genre speaks God's truth, yet each genre requires us to read them differently in order to read it faithfully. A psalm of lament, a proverb, and a vision in Revelation are all the Word of God, yet each asks something different of its reader. Join Pastor Sebastian for a 6-week series in the Fellowship Hall exploring the major genres of Scripture, how to read each one faithfully, and how together they tell the one story of God's redemption in Christ.
