2026 Vespers Fall Series
The series topic for our Midweek Vespers service for the first five weeks will be Holy Risk: Facing our Fears by Faith—we’ll take an honest look at our fears. We’ll identify the message underneath our fears, learn to face our fears through the gospel, and explore how to act courageously when obedience feels uncertain or costly. Then for the last five weeks we will have a series entitled Holy Rest: Facing our Exhaustion by Faith. We’ll explore the gift of Sabbath—learning to stop, receive, delight, worship, and remember that our lives do not ultimately depend on us.
At the heart of both series is the same question: Can I really trust Jesus with my life? Can I trust him enough to go when he says go? And can I trust him enough to stop when he says stop? You can look at the rest of the series break down below.
You probably know people at work or in your neighborhood who would benefit from these series. Will you invite them to join us? We would love for our Vesper services to not only be a blessing for our church family but the Franklin community.
