Music and Choir

Greg Wilbur
Worship & Chief Musician

To glorify God and to edify His people through the service of music in Lord’s Day worship and other opportunities in the life of the church.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
— Psalm 98:4

We desire for the music we sing on typical Sunday mornings to be corporate, accessible, and excellent. Worship is a dialogue between God and His people, and it is important for the congregation to be able to participate. Songs in worship are useful as exaltation or praise to God, instruction in the truths of the Gospel, and as prayer.

We desire for the music to be singable and understandable as well as a reflection of the time and place in which God has placed our congregation. The music teams help to assist in leading worship by providing support. We have various singers and instrumentalists on a weekly basis form the leading ensemble.

In addition, we have a choir that leads the congregation seasonally—usually at Christmas and Easter and the services leading up to those times. We generally use additional instrumentalists during those times as well.
