MAUNDY THURSDAY — April 2, 6:30 p.m.
The word “maundy” is an abbreviated form of the word mandate. It refers to the powerful display of Christ’s love as he washes his disciples feet and charges them, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:35). This beautiful communion service lays important historical and theological foundations for all that will follow on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
GOOD FRIDAY — April 3, 5:00 & 7:00 p.m.
We will gather for two Good Friday services on April 3 at 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. This service is a powerful reflection on the Passion of Jesus Christ. Complete with choir and chamber orchestra, this service leads the worshiper into Christ’s darkest hour as together we survey the wondrous cross.
To endeavor to accommodate everyone inside the Chapel, we ask that you register online again this year to let us know which Good Friday service you plan to attend. All are welcome! Click here to register now. Please contact Dan Fiedler if your plans have changed since you registered for a service time. Contact: Dan Fiedler, dan@cstonepres.org.
Overflow seating will be available for the 5:00 service. Livestream will be available at 7:00 p.m.
EASTER SUNDAY — 7:30, 9:00, & 10:45 a.m.
Potluck Fellowship — 8:45-10:45 a.m.
In lieu of Sunday School on Easter, we will enjoy a potluck fellowship (rain or shine!) from 8:45-10:45 a.m. Please make plans to bring a breakfast item to share and join us in the Cornerstone courtyard if the weather permits or on the Biscuit Love patio in the case of rain. We have much to celebrate!
